    P0236 and P0344

Got this code p0236 turbo circuit performance A, and P0344 CMP Sensor Circuit Intermittent. Truck runs ok and I was reading an old post from Shawn (AZstang) on the P0344 so I will let that one go for the time being and will grab a new CPS Monday. On the P0236 I checked my lines to the map sensor and they are good and my EBPV seems to be working because I can hear the exhaust change sounds. What else would set that code?

It may be your MAP Sensor. Have you checked what you PCM is seeing for boost compared to your boost gauge??

Sounds like an electrical issue. Could be the sensor or possibly an issue with the harness. If you clear the codes, do they come back?

I've heard the way to check the map on the OBS is to unplug it electrically and see if the truck runs better. This causes the PCM to use default map tables in place of actual values. If it runs better you need a new sensor.

I cleared them and drove out by Speedworld but wasn't into it any. They haven't come back so far.
