    Another No Start Thread...

Ok, just joined. I went through a few of the other no start threads and did some basic troubleshooting. I think I am kind of scared mechanically to go any deeper. I am considering towing the truck over to a shop but wanted to give a help thread a chance hoping you kind folks might lead me to a cheap fix.
Details - Truck has been slow to start since I have owned it in the winter(sounds typical so far). Finally refused to start about 3 weeks ago. Bought both AutoZ batts about 14 months ago, one died and was replaced about 2 months ago. Had them re-checked at AZ and were deemed good. Last week, I took them out and fully charged them again just in case. Tested the GPR and found the 11V when turning key. All 8 GPs were around 1.2 ohms resistance. Last summer the stealership replaced a bad injector #5 and the injector harness. They also replaced the GPR stating that would fix my cold start issue. Found out this winter, it didn't help..

Other notes - Fuel Filter changed at dealer 5K ago and Truck has an Edge Juice(I believe) chip / display module. I have set it back to 1 since I bought it.
Would having it scanned help me find other things?
    Thanks is advance,

If you wind up towing, give Nate at Strictly Diesel the nod. There are also a lot of good guys here that may get you going.

You need to start by having your truck scanned. Jody and Newman live on your side of town. If for some reason they can't help you out let me know and I will set up a time to scan your truck...

I have contacted Nate at SD and got a tow company recommendation. I guess I am prepared for that at least. Just hate to tow all the way over there to find out I missed something stupid.
I'll keep checking the thread, while I prepare my taxes..
If someone on the east side has a scanner and time that would be awesome. Be happy to pay or help someone out for it for their valuable time. Thanks everyone.

Thanks again to Jody and Mike for stopping by to help troubleshoot. Scanned good, buzz test good. The starter is turning way to slow in the truck. We(Jody worked; I watched) took the starter out and it tested good at AZ. Put it back in and swapped batts from Jody's truck. Same symptom. So that eliminates the batteries. Might be the cables, they look a weary and corroded(sp?), so placed an order thru Rowdy. Will swap positive cable later this week and maybe starter afterwards. We'll see from there. Enjoy the SuperBowl everyone and be safe. See ya next time on "As the Ford Turns"
